Green Smoothie Bowl

A smoothie bowl is a way to enjoy smoothies by using a spoon instead of drinking it with straw. I made my smoothie bowl a little thicker so that I can top it with fresh fruits or homemade granola. It’s so much better than your milk and cardboard box cereal. Smoothie bowl is a complete nutrient-dense, you’ll be eating a lot healthier and it’s an energy booster when you want to get the most out of your morning workout.

We know how important it is to eat plenty of fruits and veggies, but let’s face it; It’s not always easy to get as much as we need each day. Smoothies can be a quick, easy and tasty way to get a mega dose of super foods, and they’re even good to take with you on the go.

  • 1 ripe mango
  • 3 ripe kiwis
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 scoop protein powder, I use The Natural Citizen
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 4 ice cubes
  1. For a smooth and to avoid streaks of greens, always place your greens first in your blender. Add the rest of the ingredients, blend until smooth. For a thicker consistency, add more ice. 

  2. Transfer the smoothie to a bowl. Arrange your favorite toppings like fresh fruits, nuts or unsweetened coconut flakes. 

    For added nutrients: add a tablespoon of the following:

    Chia seeds

    Flax seeds

    Dried Goji berries

    Matcha powder

    Spirulina powder

    Flax oil
