Shrimp with Sweet and Spicy Sauce

Perfectly cooked shrimps in Sweet and Spicy Chili Sauce. Serve in a bowl of rice with chopped tomatoes and cucumber on the side.

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 pound raw shrimps, peeled, deveined, tail on
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sweet and Spicy Chili Sauce aka chili oil
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tablespoon cold water
- 3 tablespoons oil
- Option: cooked rice, chopped tomatoes, cucumber, crispy garlic, and sliced green onions
In a bowl season shrimps with salt. Set them aside.
In a saucepan over medium heat. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, Sweet and Spicy Chili Sauce, slurry (cornstarch dissolved in water).
Continuously stir until the sauce thickened. Add the sauce to the bowl of seasoned shrimps, toss to coat. Marinate for at least 15-20 minutes.
Heat a skillet with oil, add the marinated shrimps, cook for 1 minute on each side or until pink. Remove from the pan, serve with rice and veggies.
