Yay! Spring is finally here. If you're like me, I honestly confess I have indulged during the Winter season which I'm not very happy to admit. When life gets crazy busy, the first thing that gets pushed aside is our health. Work, kids, house chores, laundry, cooking...etc. you can name it. Then, the next thing you know, you're grabbing fast food and feeling guilty. Who wants to have low energy, bloating and grumpiness. 
Of course, we all want to feel happy in our own skin, we want a life full of energy and uplifting spirit. So let's do this, try cleansing and start seeing a change in your life. Consuming food full of nutrients will support your immune system, you'll have glowing skin and improve sleep. Eating lots of greens, drinking water instead of sugary drinks, and getting adequate sleep helps you live your dream of having a vibrant life. Wake up feeling refreshed!

Ingredients
  

Salad Ingredients

  • 2 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • 2 small radishes sliced thinly
  • 1 cup edamame beans cooked
  • 1 small cucumber cut into matchsticks
  • 1/2 cup cilantro chopped

Dressing

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Instructions for dressing: in a small bowl combine all ingredients, use a whisk or fork, stir to mix well.
  • Instructions for salad: In a bowl, combine all the salad ingredients, pour the dressing. Toss and stir to mix.
