Mocha Frappuccino
If you think buying your drink every morning will make you feel more energized think again. This Mocha Frap is made with good stuff that will fill you up and keep you going all morning. There’s nothing better than making your own refreshing drink and be ready for the day with so much energy!
Let’s get blending!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup brewed coffee
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 banana (option)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
ice cubes
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine all ingredients except ice in the blender and set it into medium high or to your smoothie setting. Blend for 10-15 seconds or until all incorporated. Then, add the ice and pulse for 20 seconds. Add more ice for thickener consistency.
for the chocolate shavings
2 oz. chocolate bar
INSTRUCTIONS:
Use gloves while handling chocolate, this way the chocolate doesn’t melt quickly. Use a vegetable peeler and shave the chocolate towards you to form curly chocolate shavings.
for toppings:
Unsweetened coconut flakes
Toasted almonds
Chocolate shavings
A pinch of cinnamon
Chocolate shavings
Whipped topping (option)
NOTE:
You can add any toppings you’d like
for the melted chocolate
3 tablespoons chocolate morsels
1 tablespoon coconut oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, microwave for 60 seconds. Check and stir every 10 seconds or until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Use a spoon and spoon the melted chocolate to swirl inside the glass. Swirl the chocolate to look like chocolate drippings, kinda look like “mudslide”.
ready to assemble
Pour the mocha mixture into the glass with a melted chocolate swirl. Optional to top with whipped topping. Sprinkle cinnamon, chocolate shavings, toasted almonds, and coconut flakes. Drizzle the remaining melted chocolate on top.
