Honey Glazed Chicken

Great combination of honey and lemon, perfect balance of sweet and sour flavor.

Ingredients

1 lb. chicken breast, sliced into 1/2 an inch thick

juice of one lemon

zest of one lemon

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup honey, and a little more for glazing

1/4 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes

Instructions

-1. In a bowl combine chicken, and rest of the ingredients. Use your hand and toss to coat well.

-2. Marinate for at least an hour, or if you have time marinate them overnight.

3. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet pan with foil or parchment paper.

-4. Lay the chicken on the pan, spread them out for event baking. Drizzle with oil. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove the chicken from the oven halfway cooking and glaze with honey.

-5 Place the chicken back in the oven and bake for another 5 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with steamed or stir fry veggies.
