Honey Garlic Pork

This is an easy dinner recipe for those very hectic nights. You can make an extra sauce and use it for your other dish. It also go well with chicken or shrimps. Have a salad on the side with steamed rice. Dinner ready in no time!

ingredients

1 lb. pork tenderloin, thinly sliced

4 garlic cloves, minced

3 tablespoons oil

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes

Sprinkle sesame seeds

Option: fresh mild red chili

Instructions:

1. Season the pork with salt and let it sit for at least 5 minutes. Heat a pan with oil. Add the pork, try not to move them around until the bottom browned. Stir to cook evenly.

2. Remove the pork from the pan. Set aside. Meantime, in a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, red chili pepper flakes and tomato paste, stir to combine well.

3. In the same pan, add the garlic and chili pepper, saute´ for a minute or until the garlic is a little toasted. Add the sauce mixture, simmer for 1-2 minutes, or until it thickened. Add the pork back into the pan, stir to combine. Constantly stirring until the pork is well coated with sauce. Immediately remove from the heat. Serve warm with salad and steamed rice on the side. \
