- Pizza dough: If you’re making it from scratch here’s my Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe. Cut the dough into equal portions. You can also use a store-bought pizza dough.
- Pepperoni: Use half of the 6 oz. package per portion of the dough. If you want to substitute, other options are, Italian sausage (cooked), ham, or salami.
- Cheese: Shredded mozzarella, shredded mild or sharp cheddar, and Parmesan cheese.
- Spinach: Heat a skillet with oil, and cook the spinach until wilted. Cool before spreading onto the dough.

How To Make Pepperoni Pizza Rolls

STEP-BY-STEP
- PREP THE PIZZA DOUGH
Prepare your pizza dough by rolling it out into a rectangular shape. You can make my Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe or use a store-bought.
- FILLING
Lay the pepperoni around the dough, then sprinkle cheese evenly on top, leaving a small border around the edges. Next, add a layer of sauteed spinach on top of the cheese. After adding the spinach, sprinkle some Parmesan cheese over the top for an extra burst of flavor.
- ROLL UP THE DOUGH
Then, carefully roll up the dough tightly, starting from one end and rolling towards the other end. Once rolled, slice the dough into individual rolls and place them on a baking sheet pan or cast iron skillet. Make sure to leave a little space between each roll to allow for rising. Cover with a kitchen towel or plastic wrap and rest for 30 minutes before baking.
- BAKE
Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Brush them with egg wash. Finally, bake the pizza rolls in the oven until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted about 20 minutes.

- 3 oz or half of the package, about 30 pieces of traditional pepperoni
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp or mild cheddar
- 4 cups spinach, sauteed
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
EGG WASH
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream or whole milk
Instructions

- Layer on the pepperoni, cheese, sauteed spinach, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
- Then, carefully roll up the dough tightly, starting from one end and rolling towards the other end. Once rolled, slice the dough into individual rolls and place them on a greased cast iron skillet. Make sure to leave a little space between each roll to allow for rising.
- Cover with a kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Rest the pizza rolls for 30 minutes before baking. Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
