My Chicken Adobo

I used an adobo spice from 360 Flavor & Spice Company. It’s a combination of different spices like ground coriander and garlic, annatto seeds, ground cumin, Mexican oregano, tellicherry pepper, kosher salt, and a hint of sugar. It brings an umami flavor to the dish, great for marinating chicken or any kind of meat.

It’s not a very traditional Filipino adobo but the flavor is somewhat similar. The Filipino adobo is flavored with the sauce made from soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and lots of garlic. They normally use chicken thighs or legs. My version of Chicken Adobo is very simple, the adobo spice made the dish very flavorful with a little twist of Mexican flavor.
The spices are paprika, adobo spice, garlic powder, and red chili pepper flakes. I also used soy sauce to bring out the umami flavor.
You can order the adobo spice online. Go to 360 Flavor & Spice, where you can find lots of different spices that I’m sure you’ll enjoy! I’m not trying to ad this company, I just like what they offer so much so I thought I’d share it with you.
