Place the spinach first in the blender, add the rest of the ingredients. Add the water. If you have a blender that has an automatic setting for a smoothie, just use that setting.
If your blender doesn't have an automatic setting for a smoothie, place your greens at the bottom of the blender first. Add a little water, blend for 30 seconds or until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients, blend until smooth.
Option: add a scoop of protein powder. For nutritional boost add a tablespoon of chia seeds or flaxseeds.
