Lemony Garlic Crusted Salmon
There are ways you can do to cook your salmon perfectly. The crust for this dish was inspired by Chef Gordon Ramsay. I finally completed his Master Class and I enjoyed it so much!
Ingredients
4 Salmon fillets with skin on
1/2 cup Panko breading
1 cup fresh basil
1 garlic clove
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
3 tablespoon oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Honey Dijon Dressing
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Juice of one lemon
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Emulsify the dressing. Use a whisk and mix while slowly adding the oil, mix until well combined.
Instructions
1. In a food processor combine, basil, garlic, Panko breading, salt, and pepper, blend into fine texture. Season the salmon with a pinch of salt and pepper, squeeze lemon juice, and sprinkle the lemon zest.
2. Dredge the salmon into the breading. Heat a pan with oil, fry the salmon until golden brown about a minute each side. Do not cook all the way through.
3. Preheat the oven to 375ºF. Remove the salmon from the heat and transfer to a baking pan, cover with foil, bake for 2 minutes.
4. Remove the salmon from the oven. Leave the foil on for another minute, let the salmon rest. Serve with side of salad or brown rice.
