For the ingredients you need:
ALL PURPOSE FLOUR – or bread flour. The bread flour is a combination of varieties of white and whole wheat grains. It has a higher content of protein, most bread require higher protein to produce lots of gluten. Gluten gives the bread its strech and elasticily. Although we are not using any yeast, we still need something to make our bread rise, instead we are using baking powder as a leavening agent.
SUGAR – to sweetened our bread a bit
BUTTER – to make our bread creamy and yummy
HEAVY CREAM – is one of the wet ingredients that helps the banana bread to became moist and creamy
BAKING POWDER – act as a leavening agent
VANILLA – for flavoring
BANANAS – they are “the star of the show”
EGGS – is a binder to make our bread sticky and moist
WALNUT – gives a nice crunch to the banana bread
RAISINS – is an option but it’s a nice addition for sweetening our bread

Hi there! Nice to meet you. My name is Jen.
I’m a mom of 2 wonderful girls. I love to prepare and cook home-cooked meals. Cooking and planning your meals might sound like another chore added to your already long list of things to do. Believe me, I’ve been there. However, cooking more meals at home is worth all the effort. After years of cooking for my family and teaching culinary classes, I can honestly say that I have more control over the quality of the ingredients I use. That means I’m eating a lot better. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring and you don’t have to eat the same thing repeatedly. There are ways we can do to naturally enhance the flavor of our food and enjoy home-cooked meals.
