Spicy Chipotle Chicken Tacos

Spicy smokey flavor chicken tacos.

Ingredients
  

FOR THE CHICKEN TACOS

  • 1 pound or one whole rotisserie chicken, remove the skin, and deboned
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 chipotle pepper, diced
  • Homemade taco seasoning
  • 8 flour or corn tortilla

FOR THE HOMEMADE TACO SEASONING

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Heat the skillet with oil. Add the onion, and saute for a minute or until tender. Add the garlic, and continue sauteing until fragrant.
  • Add the chicken, chipotle pepper, and taco seasoning, and stir to combine. Cook until well heated.
  • Assemble the tacos by filling each tortilla with chicken and toppings of your choice.
