Homemade Pizza Dough is a versatile and delicious base for creating your own customized pizzas right in the comfort of your kitchen.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour, more for dusting unbleached
  • 1 packet instant dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water, temperature between 105ºF-110ºF

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, and sugar, mix using a whisk to combine. Then add the salt and mix again.
  • Add warm water and olive oil. Mix everything until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until it doubles in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 400ºF. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, add your favorite toppings, and bake for 15-18 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
