Hawaiian Fried Rice

Perfectly cooked rice with ham and pineapple. Very flavorful sauce made with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Combined with sauteed garlic, onion, carrot, and bell pepper.

FOR THE SAUCE
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
FOR THE FRIED RICE
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 small carrot, peeled, diced
- 1 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1 cup diced cooked ham
- 4 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 2 stalks green onions, sliced
FOR THE SAUCE
In a bowl or small cup, add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir to combine and set it aside.
FOR THE FRIED RICE
Heat the wok or any wide pan with oil, add the eggs, and scramble them. Remove from the pan and set it aside.
Use the same pan, add more oil if needed. Add the onion and garlic, season with salt and pepper, saute until the onion is tender.
Add the carrot and bell pepper, cook until tender. Add the ham and cooked rice, stir until combined, and the rice is well heated.
Add the pineapple and the sauce, stir until well combined. Add the scrambled eggs, stir, and sprinkle with green onions.
