Grilled Asparagus

Perfectly grilled and well seasoned asparagus.

Equipment

  • Grill pan or outside grill
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • baking sheet pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bundle fresh asparagus
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, more for heating the grill pan
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teasapoon ground pepper
  • Juice of half a lemon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your grill pan with oil. Wash and trim the asparagus. Use a kitchen towel or paper towel to pat them dry. Make sure they're completely dry.
  • Cut the bottom tough and hard part. Place them on a baking sheet pan.
  • Drizzle olive oil. Toss and rub each asparagus with the oil. Season with garlic powder, salt, and ground pepper. Toss again to coat well. Squeeze the fresh lemon juice.
  • Place them on a preheated grill pan. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side or until you see grill marks. Serve warm.
