Homemade Banana Bread

Moist bread with walnuts and raisins. Not overly sweet and it has a nice crunch from the walnut

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter or 1 stick, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or whole milk
  • 3 ripened bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, vanilla, and heavy cream, mix until smooth.
  • Add the mashed bananas, continue mixing until well combined. Add the flour and baking powder, use a spatula to gently mix the batter until combined.
  • Fold in the walnuts and raisins. Pour over prepared loaf pan, bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
