Homemade Banana Bread

Moist bread with walnuts and raisins. Not overly sweet and it has a nice crunch from the walnut

- 1/2 cup butter or 1 stick, room temperature
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup heavy cream or whole milk
- 3 ripened bananas, mashed
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup raisins
Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Grease a loaf pan.
In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs, vanilla, and heavy cream, mix until smooth.
Add the mashed bananas, continue mixing until well combined. Add the flour and baking powder, use a spatula to gently mix the batter until combined.
Fold in the walnuts and raisins. Pour over prepared loaf pan, bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
